Greg Norman’s son, Greg Norman Jr., feels that the PNC Championship should have invited him and his father and paired them alongside Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods. He added that this would have created buzz and sent a message of mending fences and unity between the two rival circuits.

The 2024 PNC Championship is scheduled from Thursday, December 19, to Sunday, December 22, at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club Orlando, Grande Lakes. Over the four days, 20 teams will compete for a purse of $1,085,000.
Following the field announcement, Norman Jr. took to X (formerly Twitter) to express his disappointment.
“If they really wanted to shake things up and cause a buzz they should have invited us to the PNC and paired us with Tiger and Charlie. Mend the fences. Show unity. Mic us up. Have some fun. Celebrate family and the game right?”
For the uninitiated, LIV Golf players and their associated names have not been invited to the PNC Championship since the inception of the rival circuit in 2022. Team Norman has appeared several times at the event, tying for ninth in their last appearance at the 2020 championship. For the uninitiated, the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, the tournament’s venue, was designed by Greg Norman.
Who is playing at the PNC Championship ft Tiger Woods and Charlie?
Besides Tiger Woods and Charlie Woods, the PNC Championship field will feature several superstars. World No. 1 Nelly Korda, alongside her dad and former tennis star Petr Korda, will also be competing next week.
Apart from them, notable names like Annika Sorenstam, Padraig Harrington, and defending champion Bernhard Langer will also be in action at the Ritz-Carlton Golf Club. Notably, Langer has won here five times, the most in the tournament’s history.
