Priyanka Chopra treated fans with interesting details about her dreamy wedding with singer Nick Jonas. She revealed how she planned everything while busy shooting in Old Delhi.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas turned their relationship into a beautiful bond of marriage of a lifetime six years ago and since then they have been the ultimate power couple by setting couple goals. The duo exchanged vows in 2018 at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur. Despite being busy with various projects in Hollywood, Priyanka planned every detail of her special day. Recently, at an event, the Desi girl revealed how she did it.
Priyanka Chopra during her appearance at the ongoing Red Sea International Film Festival 2024 recollected how she managed to do wedding preparations while shooting in Old Delhi. She shared, “There was one room, which was my make-up room and the other room was my wedding room. So, production has set up a room where all wedding food, linen, invitees and people would come to that room in between shots, I would (choose). That’s how I planned the wedding.”
Priyanka and Nick got married on December 1, 2018. In January 2022, they announced the arrival of their daughter, Malti Marie, via surrogacy.
Besides talking about her personal life, Priyanka also revealed some interesting things about her acting career. The actress shared how she learned Tai Chi for her role in the movie Don. She further shared how she realized the importance of focusing on her craft rather than relationships or behaviour on set while doing Don. “By the time I came to Don, I had realised that the most important thing to focus on is my craft, not your relationships with your director, and co-actors, not how you behave on set, but what you do between action and cut,” Priyanka added.
Priyanka has finished shooting for the second season of Citadel, the spy thriller series co-starring Richard Madden. Citadel, created by Josh Appelbaum, Bryan Oh and David Weil, is produced by Joe and Anthony Russo. She also has Heads of State and The Bluff in the pipeline.
