The secret that helped Kim Kardashian lose 27kg after giving 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡, have an hourglass figure

A plant-based diet combined with exercise has helped the reality TV star achieve a body that many women desire.

Kim Kardashian has gone on a number of weight loss regimes since she became a celebrity. The reality TV star started following a strict diet after giving 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡.

In addition, to fit into the dress worn by the late model and actress Marilyn Monroe at the 2022 Met Gala , the fashion and beauty “boss” worked hard to lose weight quickly.

Atkins Diet

The mother of four has been on the Atkins diet (a low-carb diet) as a way to lose weight after giving 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 for years. The low-carb Atkins diet promotes weight loss by allowing those on it to eat more protein and fat.

The diet was first promoted by Dr. Robert Atkins, who wrote a best-selling book about it in 1972. Kim Kardashian told ABC News that the Atkins diet worked for her after giving 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 to her first 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 in 2013.

Business Insider reported that Kim Kardashian lost 27kg after welcoming her second 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 in 2015 thanks to this diet.

Specifically, the reality TV star follows the “Atkins 40” diet, eating 40 grams of carbs, three servings of 115-170 grams of protein, and two to four servings of fat per day. She also drinks eight glasses of water per day, occasionally rewarding herself with a cup of peanut butter.

Exercise regularly

While a strict diet helps Kim Kardashian maintain her perfect body mass, regular workouts and gym sessions also help her gain muscles and a toned body easily.

Kim has worked with many personal trainers with a variety of exercises. She has always kept up her exercise routine.

In an interview with People magazine , Kim Kardashian said she works out at 6am every day with a trainer.

The star posted a video of herself working out for the third time that day. “I’ve been boxing, I’ve been on the treadmill, and now I’m doing leg exercises,” Kim Kardashian shared while filming the video.

In 2024, Kim Kardashian was seen working out with personal trainer and fitness creator Senada Greca. Trainer Greca revealed that Kim did squats and hip thrusts in her free time to tone her lower body.

Low-sugar, plant-based diet

In 2018, Kim Kardashian’s trainer Alcantara prepared recipes to ensure her meals were balanced between protein, carbohydrates and fats. Her menu was always free of processed foods.

Kim Kardashian starts a typical day with blueberry oatmeal pancakes for breakfast, followed by chicken, sweet potatoes, and vegetables for lunch. Her dinner usually consists of fish and vegetables, Alcantara told People .

In 2019, Kim Kardashian admitted to eating chicken salad every day for a year. The meal consisted of shredded chicken, noodles, and ginger soaked in a sesame dressing.

In 2022, she reached a new milestone in her weight loss process. Sharing with Interview magazine, she said that she ate “as much as possible” plants, although in previous years she preferred chicken meals.

Kim Kardashian admits she’s not perfect, but her lifestyle choices have helped her feel “happy with my body and my skin.”

For breakfast, the businesswoman eats acai berries topped with fresh coconut and fruits including bananas, peaches, and mangoes, along with protein supplements like nuts and granola. She also enjoys hot tea with almond milk every morning.

Despite following a low-carb diet, the businesswoman still recognizes the nutritional role of carbohydrates in a healthy diet.

Cosmopolitan magazine writes: “Kim Kardashian’s trainer always says that before and after a workout, you should eat simple carbs like sweet potatoes, along with a small amount of fat and protein like chicken. You should also eat vegetables to absorb protein, fat and carbs effectively.”

The Atkins diet and rigorous exercise have proven to be effective in helping Kim Kardashian lose weight. However, she also credits her trainer for her daily support and motivation to make her aware of the importance of maintaining her weight.
