She has shared the progress of her pregnancy with fans via social media.

But after quietly taking a break from the spotlight, actress Anne Hathaway has emerged – seemingly with her new𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in tow.

The 37-year-old was pictured walking with her family at a park in Connecticut on Sunday, the first time she had been seen in weeks.

At her side, Anne’s husband Adam Shulman, 38, carried a 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 in an infant carrier, while son Jonathan, three, walked with him.

For the wintry outing, Anne was dressed in a cream jacket over a warm turtleneck sweater, jeans and boots.

The Devil Wears Prada star kept extra warm with a grey beanie and accessorised with a pair of shades over her eyes.

Adam beat the chill in a black down puffer jacket and a beanie, while their son wore a cute penguin hat.

Anne was due to attend the premiere of her new movie Dark Waters on November 13, but skipped the event.

She later shared a gallery of photos to Instagram, expressing her regret but telling fans: ‘It’s for a great reason.’ She did not give further details.

Anne then posted a seflie showing her bump on her 37th 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day on November 15.

‘Feeling so much love this 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day week! I want to thank everyone for the flowers and the books and chocolates and cards and crystals and other incredible goodies and most importantly I want to thank God for giving me a good hair day. It was so, so appreciated #37,’ she captioned.

The Princess Diaries star’s 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 shower took place mid October in her New York home, with the star hosting guests including fellow actress, Jessica Chastain.

She also revealed last month during an appearance on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan that she did know the 𝓈ℯ𝓍 of the 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 but wanted to keep it secret.

Anne also dished on her plans for the 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦’s name – playing a cruel prank on people who ask.

‘I try to come up with names that are beautiful-sounding but will make other people intensely uncomfortable. It’s really cruel, but I enjoy it so much,’ she jokingly said on October 11.

‘Everyone’s so sincere about it and happy for you and being nice to you and all those things, so I like to twist that. And then you correct them, and they never get it right. And you make really intense, sincere eye contact and you don’t look away and you don’t blink. And you have to watch them just squirm.’

Anne made her pregnancy announcement back in July and hinted of infertility struggles.

‘It’s not for a movie…⁣⁣ #2,’ she captioned a black-and-white mirror selfie.

‘⁣All kidding aside, for everyone going through infertility and conception hell, please know it was not a straight line to either of my pregnancies. Sending you extra love.’

They went on to welcome Jonathan in 2016.
