A young Nigerian Lady who lost her mother during her studies survives challenges, graduates from UI with masters degree in Economics.

A young Nigerian Lady named Oluwatoyin Akintunde has demonstrated remarkable resilience and determination by earning a Master’s degree in Economics from the prestigious University of Ibadan, despite facing personal challenges, including the loss of her mother during her studies.

Celebrating her achievement on LinkedIn, Oluwatoyin described her academic journey as one of growth, resilience, and excellence. She earned a Master of Science degree with specializations in Energy Economics, Health Economics, and International Economics.

For her, this accomplishment is more than just academic success; it symbolizes her unwavering determination and passion for economic development.

Throughout her program, Oluwatoyin delved deep into macroeconomic and microeconomic theories, developing the ability to apply these concepts to real-world economic challenges.

Her hard work and dedication did not go unnoticed, as she received two prestigious awards. She received the Professor Owodunni and Adefunke Teriba Award for Excellence in Economics, presented to the best student in Economics.

Oluwatoyin was also awarded the Dr. Diran Fawibe Award, recognizing the best student in Energy Economics.
