Kim Kardashian attended Vanity Fair’s 2025 Oscar Party on Sunday in Los Angeles, where she donned a custom Balenciaga design based on a look from the label’s spring 2025 couture collection.
The Skims founder wore a white backless frock made from Tyvek, turning around to reveal the gown’s half-skirt. Kardashian was assisted by her longtime stylist, Dani Levi.
Hairdresser Chris Appleton styled Kardashian’s dark tresses in a sleek bun, while Rokael Lizama gave her minimal makeup consisting of taupe eye shadow and coral blush, leaving her lips bare.
On Saturday, Kardashian favored vintage Chanel to attend the French fashion house’s pre-Oscar dinner in Beverly Hills.
The reality star and entrepreneur sported a black corset dress with a tiered skirt from Chanel’s fall 1992 couture collection. Featuring a pleated mesh underlay, the design was originally modeled by Helena Christensen on the runway. Kardashian accessorized with diamond studs, velvet pumps and a miniature flap bag.
Her bow-laden hairdo nodded to another vintage Chanel look, specifically one worn by Claudia Schiffer at Chanel’s fall 1995 couture presentation.
Kardashian has been known to favor vintage styles, selecting a white Mugler bodysuit dated to 1998 at the Academy Museum Gala last fall. She also famously modeled Marilyn Monroe’s dress at the 2022 Met Gala — the exact same sheer, crystallized dress Monroe wore to serenade President John F. Kennedy in 1962.
