Actor Dingdong Dantes – husband of “Most Beautiful Woman in the Philippines” Marian Rivera – attracts audiences with his height of over 1.8 m and well-proportioned body.

Dingdong Dantes attracted attention when he played the main role in the Philippine version of Descendants of the Sun. On Instagram and Twitter , the audience was divided into two opinions about the actor’s appearance. One side said he was more masculine, muscular, and had a more military spirit than Song Joong Ki in the original Korean version. The rest thought Dingdong was old, had a fierce expression, and lacked the humor of the character.

According to  GMA Network , as soon as the producer had the intention to remake Descendants of the Sun , he thought of Dingdong. In terms of acting, he is always at the top of the Philippine entertainment industry with 24 years of experience. In terms of appearance, the actor once won the “Most Handsome Male Star” poll in the country.

To portray the image of a soldier well, Dingdong Dantes and other male actors had to undergo military training, learning the gestures and manners of soldiers. During the half-year filming, he had to work in harsh weather in swamps, deep forests, islands and deserts. On his personal page, a series of photos of him on set were loved by tens of thousands of viewers.

On January 27, Dingdong Dantes was promoted to the rank of lieutenant in the Philippine Navy thanks to his active promotion of the Navy and participation in many major events. Actress Marian Rivera (third from right) posted a photo of her family congratulating the actor on the award ceremony and said she was proud of her husband.

At the age of 40, Dingdong Dantes is often praised for his good looks and standard body shape. He is over 1.8 m tall and weighs 75 kg.
