Elon Musk’s estranged daughter, Vivian, shared how her father reacted to the news of her being transgender.
“He was not as supportive as my mom,” she told Teen Vogue in a recent interview.
“First of all, I had not talked to him in months — in months — so I had to get f–king parental consent to get testosterone blockers and [hormone replacement therapy].”
However, the 20-year-old shared that her mom — Musk’s first wife, Justine Wilson — was more sympathetic to the news.

“She was very supportive of my transition. She is a published writer of supernatural romance fiction, which is where I get all my Vivian-isms,” Vivian told the outlet.
“When I came out to her, she was like, ‘Yeah, that figures,’” she added.
“She kind of [pieced it together], so when I came out, she pretended to be slightly surprised for 30 seconds and then was like, ‘Yeah, honey. Okay.’”
Page Six has reached out to Musk for comment but did not immediately hear back.

Elsewhere in the interview, Vivian slammed the Tesla CEO, calling him a “pathetic man-𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥.”
“He’s a pathetic man-𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥,” she told Teen Vogue. “Why would I feel scared of him? Ohhh, he has so much power. Nah, nah, nah. I don’t give a f–k. Why should I be scared of this man? Because he’s rich? Oh, no, I’m trembling. Ooh, shivering in my boots here.”
Vivian said she doesn’t “give a f–k how much money” her father, who is a billionaire, has.
“I don’t. I really don’t. He owns Twitter. OK. Congratulations,” she continued.
The social media star said though people “thrive off of fear,” she’s “not giving anyone that space in [her] mind.”

“The only thing that gets to live free in my mind are drag queens,” she quipped.
Vivian filed a request to change her first name and take the last name of her mom in June 2022.
The filing listed the reason as “gender identity and the fact that I no longer live with or wish to be related to my biological father in any way, shape or form.”
Two years later, Musk, 53, claimed he had been deceived into allowing Vivian’s medical gender reassignment.
The tech giant said he essentially “lost” his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 and reiterated that he had been “tricked.”

“They call it ‘deadnaming’ for a reason. The reason they call it ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead. My son Xavier is dead — 𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁ed by the woke-mind virus,” he claimed.
Vivian subsequently clapped back, saying she looked “pretty good for a dead bitch.”
She also claimed she had “disowned” Musk, “not the other way around.”
