Among these cherished actors was Merlin Santana, who portrayed the charming Ohagi. His life was cut tragically short in 2002 when he was fatally shot at the age of 26. Another memorable presence was Lee Chamberlain, who played the wise Mrs. Lavo and passed away in 2014 due to cancer. Maya Angelou, with her guest appearance, brought her legendary wisdom to the show; she died of natural causes the same year.

The comedic flair of Ricky Harris as JW brought laughter to the series, but he succumbed to a heart attack in 2016. The wise Mrs. Moss, portrayed by Jeanette Dubois, left a lasting impression before her passing in 2020.
