Woman has ‘worst flight of her life’ after being given wrong food on 15-hour journey

From Dubai to diarrhea — this plane ride devolved into a real s – – t show.

A TikTok star says she suffered explosive bowel movements on board a 15-hour flight from Dubai to Los Angeles after an alleged “pastry mix-up.”

Chloë Chapdelaine, 25, has celiac disease and made sure to select gluten-free meal options before boarding the Emirates aircraft on Monday.

But after demolishing half of a plain croissant, the Canadian content creator was purportedly informed that the treat contained gluten — a substance she hasn’t eaten in nine years.

Chapdelaine subsequently caused a stink — literally and figuratively — tearfully taking to TikTok from the bathroom of the plane.

She later told Kennedy News that she’ll be suffering the “mental repercussions” of what occurred for about two weeks.

In the viral TikTok, Chapdelaine is seen fighting back tears in the plane’s bathroom as she declares: “I do feel like celiac disease is not taken as seriously [as nut allergies] at times.”

“I do feel that people with food allergies or sensitivities deserve to exist safely and be taken seriously in their medical condition and that’s not always the case,” she adds.

The clip — which was viewed more than 1.4 million times — also included footage of the incriminating croissant.

“I am very highly sensitive and my celiac disease will react to a trace amount or cross-contamination,” Calgary-based Chapdelaine further explained in an interview with Kennedy News on Friday.

“To be told I had eaten half a non-gluten-free croissant, which is quite a large amount and bigger than what I have reacted to in the past, was really scary for me.”

The TikToker said she almost immediately felt the effects of the gluten consumption, saying she forced herself to throw up to try and expel the substance from her system.

“I went to the bathroom and made myself physically sick and was in there for about an hour throwing up, which was horrible,” she declared. “I knew if I didn’t do that it would cause my body a lot more damage.”

“I could feel the other symptoms starting straight away as well and it just got worse from there,” she added. “I started getting really bad stomach cramping, I got diarrhea, I felt nauseous and my skin started itching.”

While she safely made it back home, Chapdelaine says it’ll take her about 14 days to recover from the brain fog and the depression that eating the gluten has caused.

The content creator said Emirates flight attendants were sympathetic towards her, but that she has filed a formal complaint.

The company had not returned multiple requests for comment by Kennedy News before the time of publication.

Elon Musk Just Bought Coca-Cola!

Elon Musk has bought Coca-Cola! Tech mogul Elon Musk recently acquired Coca-Cola, just days after buying Twitter for $44 billion.The news caused a surprise when Musk said he wanted to reintroduce cocaine into the drink, reviving the debate about the contents of Coca-Cola, which is named for the original ingredients: coca leaves and kola nuts. While the current formula of Coca-Cola remains a well-guarded trade secret, it is known that overconsumption of the drink is unhealthy. Musk tweeted, “Next thing I buy is Coke to put the cocaine back in,” a statement that quickly earned over 3.6 million likes in the first 16 hours.In the drink’s early days, the original recipe did include cocaine, but over the years, use of the drug was stigmatized and eventually banned in the United States. Despite the Twitter purchase, Musk still is the world’s richest man, with a net worth of about $253 billion, while Coca-Cola is valued at about $284 billion.To finance the deal, Musk may need a loan, possibly from Morgan Stanley, the bank that also advised him on Twitter. Coca-Cola, which competes with brands such as Pepsi and Red Bull, has faced criticism for its high sugar content and has adapted by launching sugar-free variants. The growing preference for natural beverages and fruit juices presents a significant challenge for the beverage giant. Musk, known for his bold initiatives with Tesla and SpaceX, could face similar difficulties to those he encountered during the acquisition of Twitter. However, his determined approach and entrepreneurial vision enable him to meet these challenges.His fans encourage him to further expand his investments, even suggesting the purchase of platforms such as Facebook and YouTube. With this move, Musk ventures into the food and beverage sector, surprising the public once again and confirming his reputation as the king of surprises.
