25-year-old Nigerian Lady bags master’s degree in Management at US university, celebrates achievement

A 25-year-old Nigerian lady named Ayo Saraki has earned a master’s degree in Management from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business in the United States.

Ayo, the daughter of the former Senate President of Nigeria, began her academic journey at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations in 2023.

She proceeded to Georgetown University, where she recently completed her graduate studies in 2025. Her achievement was celebrated by her parents, who took to social media to express their joy and pride.

Ayo’s mother, Toyin Saraki, reflected on her experience at the graduation ceremony, where the commencement address was delivered by World Bank President.

She described her daughter as a true change-maker and passionate problem-solver, who will draw strength from a values-driven education to address some of the world’s most pressing challenges, at the intersection of business and global affairs.

Toyin Saraki expressed confidence that Ayo and her classmates are well-prepared to lead with purpose and compassion in a world that urgently needs both.

Ayo’s father, Bukola Saraki, also celebrated the milestone on X (formerly Twitter), describing the pride he felt watching his daughter walk across the stage.

For him, the moment was not just about the degree she received, but about every step, every sacrifice, and every determined effort it took to get there.

“Congratulations, Ayo. Your mum and I are beyond proud of all you’ve achieved — and even prouder of the values you carry with you into the next chapter,” he wrote.
