The NBA offseason is finally here. This came after the Oklahoma City Thunder were crowned champions this Sunday, going through a long and tiring season. While it’s time for celebration for the Thunder, the other teams are either plotting their next move or enjoying a relaxing summer. However, somehow Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry isn’t doing either of those things. Well, although Curry has been spotted on the court recently, it’s got nothing to do with hoops.
The Golden State Warriors superstar has teamed up with Hollywood star Kevin Hart and Las Vegas Aces center A’ja Wilson for a new Chase brand partnership. Curry posted about this partnership on his Instagram account, making him the talk of the town. He shared a picture with the two stars and also some behind-the-scenes clips. “Always a time with @kevinhart4real and officially welcome @aja22wilson to the fam,” Curry wrote in the caption. “They’re cool and all, but there’s only one C.O.A.T. 🏀 🤫”
We all know that Chase and Curry go way back, being connected for over a decade. Similarly, Hart, who is LeBron James’ close friend, also shares a similar connection with the $783 billion valuation, according to stock analysis. However, the WNBA star A’ja Wilson is the new kid on the block, with her partnership with the brand starting earlier this year. Nonetheless, she received a warm welcome from none other than Stephen Curry. This has been a masterstroke by Chase, as they’ve assembled a team that knows how to connect with its core audience.
The trio of stars filmed a new advertisement for the Chase Bank, the debate was about who’s the GOAT. No, not the one you’re thinking about, they debated about who the Greatest Cashbacker of All Time is as they played a game of pickup in the clip. That wasn’t it! There was some back-and-forth action between the three. “I earned 3 % on a barbecue, too,” Curry said, and Hart replied with, “I ain’t the only thing getting smoked.” They also filmed a hilarious interview that had the audience in stitches.
Meanwhile, Stephen Curry and A’ja Wilson revealed that this has been in the works since the All-Star week.
Stephen Curry welcomes A’ja Wilson to the Chase family
We all know, Stephen Curry jumped aboard with Chase back in 2016, even years before the company put its name on the Chase Center in San Francisco that the Golden State Warriors now call their home. Fast forward to today, Curry’s off-court businesses, Thirty Ink, which includes a pantheon of the veteran’s ventures, are partnered up with Chase. So, it’s only obvious that the Warriors veteran welcomed Chase’s newest addition when WNBA star A’ja Wilson and he did that brilliantly during this season’s All-Star games.

Even before Wilson made an official announcement, Chase invited both her and Curry to the Chase Freedom Cashback Courts activation near the city’s Moscone Center. This was when the two stars first crossed paths, as Stephen Curry gave Wilson a warm welcome to the Chase family. However, they were not alone as more basketball royalty joined the two. The pair shared the stage with NBA Hall-of-Fame Kevin Garnett and other NBA players such as Moses Moody and Karl Anthony-Towns.
What makes these stars connected with Chase a family is the fact that this partnership goes beyond advertisements. Let’s take Kevin Hart for example, he’s been with the brand since 2019, and just last year, Chase worked with Hart and his daughter on a campaign to promote financial literacy. Curry’s Thirty Ink partnership is another excellent example. Soon, we’ll also most likely see A’ja Wilson do similar things with the brand. So, it’s great to see a partnership not only bring money to the stars but also work for the people connected to them.
