In response to Bengals WR disrespecting Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce challenges Ja’Marr Chase.

The fighting words from Kelce add fuel to the rivalry between Chiefs and Bengals

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce challenged Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase to back up his trash talk after disrespecting Patrick Mahomes.

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow recently called Mahomes the best QB in the league, but Chase was not so quick to accept his teammate’s ruling.

Kansas City Chiefs reveal incredible custom made Super Bowl rings

Chase, 23, disrespected the two-time Super Bowl champion with his “Pat, who?” comment when asked about Burrow saying Mahomes was the best quarterback in the NFL.

Mahomes, 27, responded to the trash-talk with a picture of him wearing his two Super Bowl rings and the caption “That’s who.”

Kelce, 33, touched on the subject during his New Heights podcast with older brother Jason Kelce, center for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Travis Kelce calls out Ja’Marr Chase

“It is what it is, dog. Who doesn’t love some good locker room banter, man?” Kelce said. “Shoutout to Ja’Marr Chase for holding it down for his QB, but don’t you ever disrespect Pat Mahomes, now. If you wanna talk your s—, talk your s—, pimp. Just better back it up.”

The fighting words from Kelce add fuel to the rivalry between Chiefs and Bengals, which has been brewing for the past couple of seasons.

“I thought it was a little bold,” Kelce said. “[Mahomes] is a two-time league MVP, two-time Super Bowl MVP. To say ‘Pat who?’ is like I don’t know.”

Jason, 35, said he thought Chase’s comment was disrespectful, but enjoyed Mahomes clapping back during the Chiefs’ ring ceremony.
