Ufogel house looks like a UFO landed in an alpine village or a retro caravan stopped in its travels, perhaps a sculptural bird or even a chicken coop perched next to an old timbered farmhouse. Why is it called so? It’s UFO plus the German word for bird, Vogel; a 45 m2 larch wood getaway in the village of Nußdorf in the East Tyrolean region of Austria. The design is simple and natural – everything is covered with larch, and there are big windows to enjoy the picturesque views of the mountains. There are several sleeping places, and they are hidden to keep some privacy. The concept is great to have a rest or to ski in the mountains!
