Take a look at the impressive series of photos of the Nature Photographer of the Year award

According to the Daily Mail, these are all winning and commended photos in the Nature Photographer of the Year 2021 competition of the German Nature Photographers Association (GDT), which received more than 3,000 entries from 13 countries worldwide.

Photographers from Germany – Karsten Mosebach and Bernhard Volmer – were voted the overall winners for their stunningly exposed shot of a swallow in flight. This image was considered by the judges to be not easy to capture, and it also won a gold medal in the “Bird” category.
