After 10,000 days, $1 billion At the age of 54, Patrick Mahomes will live in ten mansions and play for ten teams

Kansas City Chiefs star QB Patrick Mahomes has achieved a lot in a short span of time. Drafted in 2017, the 2X SB champion has changed the fortunes of the team for good. Not a lot of people had confidence in the 27-year-old to make a name for himself in the league. In fact, during his draft grade, he was deemed “not ready to play” in the NFL. But with his dedication, hard work, and persistence, Mahomes is now on the road to greatness, seen as the prince to the throne of NFL GOAT Tom Brady.

And not only this, but the QB has gone on to secure generational wealth for his family. From his half-a-million-dollar mega contract to various lucrative investments and endorsements, Patrick Mahomes is growing in fame and money. So what will his life look like in the next 10,000 days?

Patrick Mahomes will just keep growing

Ever since joining the Chiefs kingdom, the 27-year-old already led them to two Lombardi Trophies. Apart from this, he has his own various league records, earning the title of league MVP twice. This also led to him being regarded as a hometown hero for the Chiefs, and securing a 10-year contract extension worth $503 million back in 2020. And Patrick Mahomes has been putting his net worth and money to good use.

After securing the contract extension worth around $503 million, Patrick Mahomes has already made investments to become a minority owner in three different teams. According to an article by CBS Sports, In January this year, he joined his wife Brittany as a stakeholder of the KC Current. Apart from this, he is also a minority shareholder in the MBL (the Kansas City Royals), as well as the MLS (Sporting Kansas City). So we can assume that Mahomes invests in at least three teams in six years (2017 was his draft). And if he continues to have the same value as his 2020 contract in the next 27 years, his contract will accumulate into one worth around $1,000 million by the age of 54. Considering the trajectory of his investments, the QB could own a minority stake in at least 10 teams by the age of 54!

But that is not the only impressive statistic the QB is in line to likely achieve. Mahomes also boasts a jaw-dropping portfolio of real estate, which also seems to be on the rise.

Mahomes could go on to own more luxurious homes

Apart from his on-field achievements, Patrick Mahomes is also quietly building a multi-million dollar real estate empire. He currently owns four different properties, which are worth around $8 million. Mahomes most recently completed the construction of his dream house in a plot of land he bought in Belton in 2020. And the new dream home of the Mahomes family boasts various amenities such as a private football field, a private pond, a swimming pool, and others. Apart from this, he owns a $350,000 worth condo in Missouri, a $3.37 million mansion in Westlake, Texas, and a $1.8 million mansion in Kansas City. The QB has currently listed his $1.8 million home on the market for $2.9 million, as the family has moved on to live in their newly constructed dream home.

And it does not look like the QB will stop building his portfolio. If we look at his pattern in real estate, the QB invests in around four properties in six years. This is because ever since being drafted in 2017, Mahomes now owns four properties in six years of his career. Considering this, the QB will continue investing in around at least 3 or four properties with a six-year time frame. So this will mean that Patrick Mahomes will boast around 10 properties by the age of 54. Not bad for someone who is already secured financially at the age of 27.

While Mahomes’ future investments are still speculative, one thing is for sure. And that is the hope of securing more Lombardi trophies for the Chiefs in the coming years.
