The actress is promoting her new film “She Came to Me.”
Anne Hathaway appeared on “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Thursday, taking a minimalist approach to style in Alexandre Vauthier.
The Oscar-winning actress wore a long-sleeve black ruched black dress with a subtle drape detail on the skirt. She completed the ensemble with sheer black tights and classic black pointy-toe slingback pumps.

Hathaway works with stylist Erin Walsh to create her looks for public appearances. Walsh also works with Ashley Park, Selena Gomez and Sofia Carson.
During her segment on “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” Hathaway discussed her new film “She Came to Me,” co-starring Peter Dinklage and Marisa Tomei. “She Came to Me” is produced by independent film company A24, which has agreed to the proposed Screen Actors Guild (SAG) contract, allowing many of their films to continue with production and promotion as usual amidst the ongoing SAG strike. “She Came to Me” is one of the A24 films with a SAG-AFTRA interim agreement.

Hathaway is also in post-production for another A24 film “Mother Mary” co-starring Micaela Coel. The film also has an interim agreement from SAG to continue as usual.
Meyers and Hathaway’s discussion during the segment also revealed that Bruce Springsteen wrote the end credits song for the movie, which is something Hathaway was particularly happy about.
“She Came to Me” had its world premiere at the Berlin Film Festival in February, and will see its worldwide film distribution on Friday.
Although she’s been occupied with her independent film projects, Hathaway has still found plenty of time for public appearances outside of work. On Sept. 28, she joined fellow celebrities in attending the second annual Albie Awards for the Clooney Foundation for Justice in a green and silver diamond pattern dress from Versace. Hathaway was the face of Versace’s Icons campaign in March, and also wore Versace to the Met Gala earlier this year.
