Sardinia has been a popular destination for sportsmen on vacation this summer, with Mbappe later that night joining up with Real Madrid forward Rodrygo.BackGrid is to blame.
He has been forced to train with a group of players known as “the undesirables,” which includes former Liverpool great Gini Wijnaldum and World Cup winner Leandro Paredes.
But such concerns seemed a world away for the Frenchman as he went off to Sardinia for some R&R.
Mbappe was seen jumping off a luxurious private plane with a companion before heading to a beach club.
He was afterwards seen lounging by a pool with two bikini-clad companions on the Southern Italian island of Ischia.
Mbappe sat back in a pair of beige bathing shorts and stylish sunglasses, attempting to make the most of his time away from PSG training.
One of his female pals was dressed in a gold bikini, while the other was dressed in white, and the brunette pair was seen clinking glasses while enjoying a cocktail.
Later that evening, the French superstar was seen out partying with Real Madrid winger Rodrygo, fueling rumours that he will join him in Madrid.
Rodrygo posted a photo of the two of them on Twitter with the phrase “KM” and a fire emoji.
Mbappe’s potential sale to Real Madrid has dominated headlines in recent years, but it appeared to be settled when he signed a new PSG contract last summer.

The forward agreed to a contract extension until 2024, with the option to extend it by another year.
The contract extension worth £93,000 per week was reached following long discussions with PSG President Nasser El-Khelaifi and even a personal intervention from French President Emmanuel Macron.
Mbappe was presented to fans with a ‘Mbappe 2025’ shirt after the contract was signed, indicating the club’s belief that he will activate his extension clause this summer.
However, after it became evident that Mbappe had no intention of exercising his option to extend his contract, the club grew persuaded that he would join Real Madrid on a free transfer next year.
In response to Mbappe’s failure to extend, PSG President El-Khelaifi issued a scathing letter accusing the forward of inflicting “enormous harm” to the club.
The club is now anxious to sell the forward in order to get a fee for him, and reportedly accepted a £259 million deal for him from Saudi club Al-Hilal last month.
Mbappe, on the other hand, refused to meet with the Saudi club.
PSG might sit the attacker for the entire 2023-24 season if there is no agreement on a transfer next season.
