In a multi-year deal, Patrick Mahomes’ foundation gives $1.625 million to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has pledged a considerable charitable donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

The quarterback announced he’s giving a $1.625million contribution to various chapters of the group that provides after-school programs for 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren across the country.

Clubs in Kansas City will directly benefit, as will three cities in Texas that Mahomes has ties to: Tyler, Whitehouse, and Lubbock.

Both Mahomes and his wife Brittany announced that the donation will be made through the quarterback’s ’15 and the Mahomies Foundation’.

‘We are truly excited to partner with Boys & Girls Clubs of America by investing in the future of 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren,’ Patrick Mahomes said in a statement.

Mahomes’ donation will go to the clubs in Greater Kansas City as well as three cities in Texas

In addition, Mahomes will donate an extra $1,500 for each regular season passing touchdown

‘Kids who attend a Club, like Brittany once did, are provided with the necessary tools and resources to help this generation not only thrive but lead with compassion and purpose.’

‘This meaningful partnership will expand opportunities for kids everywhere, and the places that have positively impacted Patrick and me,’ said Brittany Mahomes. ‘We are committed to doing all we can to uplift others.’

‘We are honored and thrilled to be partnered with 15 and the Mahomies Foundation as we work to ensure all young people have the tools to reach their full potential,’ said Jim Clark, president & CEO, Boys & Girls Clubs of America.

In addition to the $1.625m, Mahomes pledged to donate $1,500 for every touchdown he threw this regular season.
