A trainee teacher who had triplets gave 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 to her fourth 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦 just 11 months later. Bethany Kaur, 29, found out she was ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ with her little boy Karan while her first son Arjan and daughters Kiren and Kirit were still only a few months old.

Kiren weighed 3lb 4oz, Arjan 3lb 5oz and Kirit 3lb 9oz. Bethany and Kay were sᴇᴘᴀʀᴀᴛᴇᴅ from their three babies at 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡, and were ɴᴏᴛ able to see them until days later because of the Cᴏᴠɪᴅ ʀɪsᴋ . Then the couple had to take it in turns to visit their new additions at Royal Derby Hᴏsᴘɪᴛᴀʟ. They could ɴᴏᴛ kiss them and had to be kitted out in full ⓅⓅⒺ. But when the triplets were only six months old, Bethany found out she was ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ again. The new parents knew they wanted another 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦, but had ɴᴏᴛ expected Bethany to get ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴛ so soon. Bethany said:” I’m shocked, We always wanted a big family. But don’t think so quickly. God sent them to our family, there’s nothing we don’t accept. We are really happy for that.”
By chance, Karan’s due date was June 1, 2021 — exactly a year after the triplets’ due date. And on March 13, 2021, just 11 months after their first babies had been 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧, they had their son, Karan, during the third Cᴏᴠɪᴅ ʟᴏᴄᴋᴅᴏᴡɴ . He weighed 3lb and was also 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 ᴘʀᴇᴍᴀᴛᴜʀᴇʟʏ by ᴇᴍᴇʀɢᴇɴᴄʏ C-sᴇᴄᴛɪᴏɴ. Little Karan spent 12 weeks in Hᴏsᴘɪᴛᴀʟ before he could go home to meet his three older siblings. Now 11 months old, he is keeping his parents’ hands full in Burton-on-Trent, Staffs, with Kiren, Arjan, and Kirit, who are now 22 months old. Bethany said: “Karan has been a really easy 𝑏𝑎𝑏𝑦, much easier than the other three, and they’ve all really bonded.”
In 2021, teacher Jessica Pritchard, 31, also had four babies in less than a year. She gave 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡 to daughter Mia in May 2020, then had triplets 11 months later. Ella, George and Olivia were 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 weighing 2lb 9oz, 3lb 11oz and 3lb 13oz. Jessica, from Sheffield, also had an eight-year-old daughter, Molly. She said she and partner Harry Williams, 34, felt ‘so lucky and blessed’ — even with five 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren aged eight and under.
