Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry added to his elite resume with an Olympic gold medal at the 2024 Paris Games.
The point guard out of Davidson left his mark in France after draining four three-pointers in the final three minutes of the gold medal game to seal the deal over Victor Wembanyama and France. Curry finished the game with 24 points, all of which came from beyond the arc.
Just over a week after returning to the USA, Curry has already made a change to his Instagram bio. He originally had “Guard for the Warriors” in it but removed that phrase and replaced it with “Olympic Gold Medalist.”

With the seemingly harmless change, Curry is just showing off his new accolade. But some fans think he is sending a message to the Warriors by doing this.
Once word spread of Steph’s bio modification, NBA fans took to social media to leave their thoughts on it, with many saying he will leave the Warriors and join LeBron James on the Los Angeles Lakers. Curry and LeBron teamed up for the first time ever in Paris, which may be part of the reason for the speculation.
“He’s going to the Lakers to team up with Bron and AD”
“LeBron & AD talked him into being a Laker”
“STEPH, YOU ARE A LAKER”
“He better team up with Lebron or join the Charlotte Hornets”
“Lord have mercy.. he’s gonna team up with LeBron isn’t he.”
“STEPH TO THE LAKERS CONFIRMED!”
“Welcome Steph Curry to the Lakers”
Curry has been with the Warriors since 2009, and it is likely that he will remain there for the rest of his NBA career. During his career, he has brought Golden State four NBA championships and has taken home two NBA MVP awards.
The Warriors dynasty that Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green helped create will go down as one of the best in league history. After many seasons together, the Splash Brothers have finally broken up, with Thompson signing with the Dallas Mavericks over the Summer.
