Aussie actress Pia Whitesell (formerly Pia Miller) secretly married her multi-millionaire Hollywood talent agent boyfriend, Patrick Whitesell, in May 2021.
Shortly after, rumours swirled that Patrick dropped a fortune on a Tuscan-style mansion in one of LA’s most prestigious neighbourhoods.
That $US 42.9 million (AUD $57m) purchase has now been confirmed, with Dirt reporting the lavish estate was scooped up by an LLC front for Whitesell.
The Holmby Hills buy marks a new family-centric chapter for Whitesell, no doubt motivated by Pia’s relocation with her two sons to Los Angeles in late 2021, after the pair were forced to spend a large period of their marriage apart due to Covid-19 border closures.
Reports claim the lovebirds have not yet moved into the home, as they’re renovating the property and giving it modern makeover.
In the meantime, the couple’s current love nest is a swanky Malibu oceanfront rental (when they’re not travelling to places like Cabo in Mexico, that is).
Whitesell may not be a household name, but is a mover and shaker in Hollywood. The talent agent is the executive chairman of Endeavor, who, with longtime business partner Ari Emanuel reportedly owns Endeavor shares worth $US 840 million (AUD $1.1 billion). His net worth sits around $US 440 million (AUD $638 million).
Patrick’s clients include Ben Affleck, Christian Bale, Matt Damon, Michelle Williams, Idris Elba, Jake Gyllenhaal, Hugh Jackman, John Krasinski, Jude Law, Ryan Reynolds and Denzel Washington.
Despite his entertainment industry success and enormous wealth, Whitesell is more known for his very public split from first wife Lauren Sanchez and subsequent marriage to current wife, Australian model/actress Pia Whitesell, née Miller.
Meanwhile Sanchez, an LA entertainment reporter and journalist, is now dating Jeff Bezos.

Set behind gates and down a long driveway shrouded by a canopy of ancient olive trees, the home offers five bedrooms, eight bathrooms and an additional four powder rooms.
The motorcourt has ample space for over half a dozen cars and leads under an arched bridge, which connects the main house to the guesthouse, on its way to discreet garage bays for the owner’s vehicles.
Inside, you’re welcomed by a “dramatic foyer” and other features include a hall, and a great room adorned with beamed ceilings, including a small bar area near the garden entrance for when you want to serve drinks by the pool.
The gourmet kitchen has brick barrel vault ceilings, Carrara marble counters and alabaster chandeliers. There’s an adjoining butler’s pantry and eating area, plus a fountain that sits in front of its entrance to the garden.
The library, also found on the main floor, features gorgeous coffered ceilings and an office space for working from home.
Upstairs you find the guest bedrooms and primary suite with marble fireplace, two terraces, two bathroom suites, expansive walk-in robes and both a dressing and sitting room.
Downstairs is a theatre that sits 16 people, as well as a game room, a billiard room and a wine cellar. Take the bridge across to a one bed two bath guest house, alongside a gym and sauna.
The old world Mediterranean-style home has ceilings bathed in Venetian plaster, limestone floors, iron work, fireplaces throughout and doors that open to gardens in almost every room, seamlessly blending elements of indoor and outdoor living.
In front of the pool there’s a large, Napa-esque farmhouse table for hosting brunch, as well as a loggia with additional outdoor seating.
Former Home and Away star Pia has settled into her swish new life in LA with Patrick very well. She recently shared a photo of the loved-up pair to her Instagram, all smiles, after returning from luxurious holidays in Mexico and Venice.
South Mapleton, the street this home is situated on, is dubbed “one of the toniest streets” in the ultra-expensive Holmby Hills neighbourhood. The stretch is host to multiple luxe homes by film producer and developer Nile Niami, as well as a residence that Ellen DeGeneres flipped and sold to Napster founder Sean Parker for $US 55 million ($73m).
It’s also where you’ll find Spelling Manor – the jaw-dropping, 56,500-square-foot estate prominently featured in The Beverly Hillbillies – that sold for a whopping $US 120 million (AUD $160m) in 2019.
