Dingdong Dantes took to social media to share his recent conversation with his daughter Zia about taking photos when they travel as a family.
On Instagram, the Kapuso Primetime King shared a photo carousel of his wife, Marian Rivera, and Zia’s photos through the years, where they could be seen doing the “Ay, may daga” pose.
“When I told our Letizia, ‘Hey, we haven’t done the #AyMayDagaPose in a while, why don’t we do it here?’ She looked at me quite cluelessly,” Dingdong wrote.
“I showed her a series of photos of the pose, taken since she was just one year old, in various locations around the world,” he added.
The 44-year-old actor said he wasn’t expecting Zia to remember taking the photos, but as they finished browsing them, she asked her dad to take the photo with her mom.
“Well, there aren’t really any rats or whatever in those places, but what emerged from this initially whimsical concept is that she now appreciates the value of documenting these moments with her mom,” he said.
“She even expressed that she wants to continue doing this until they both reach a point when they no longer can, but would still try, reminiscent of her innocent, clueless toddler years,” he added.
In the comment section, Marian thanked Dingdong for capturing their special moments, especially when they travel abroad.
“Thank you, Mahal, for capturing this priceless moment with my Zia!” she commented.
Last month, Marian and Dingdong went to Australia with their kids, Zia and Sixto.
The Kapuso couple got married in 2014. They welcomed Zia a year later, followed by Sixto in 2019.
The Dantes Squad’s recent memorable moments include their take on the “Just Give Me My Money” online trend, appearing on “Family Feud” for Dingdong’s 𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐡day, and having a simple breakfast bonding session.
