Jannik Sinner recently made a thoughtful gesture for his girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya’s brother Nikolay Kalinsky, gifting the professional soccer player a T-shirt signed by NBA legend Steph Curry. Nikolay has expressed his heartfelt gratitude for the World No. 1’s kind present.
Sinner had the opportunity to meet Steph Curry after his triumph at the 2024 US Open, congratulating the basketball icon on clinching the gold medal at the Paris Olympics. The duo also exchanged signed T-shirts before posing for pictures together. It turns out that the Italian chose to gift the coveted T-shirt to his partner’s brother.
Nikolay recently took to social media and showed off the treasured shirt signed by Curry, extending his heartfelt gratitude to the World No. 1 for the generous gift.
“THANK YOU FOR THE GIFT šš¾š¾š @annakalinskaya78 @janniksin @stephencurry30,” Nikolay captioned his Instagram post.
SinnerĀ acknowledged Nikolay’s gratitude by liking his post, while Anna Kalinskaya responded with a string of emojis.

Nikolay’s delight at Jannik Sinner’s gesture is unsurprising, as the Russian is an avid fan of Steph Curry. The 31-year-old even donned a Golden State Warriors jersey with Curry’s name emblazoned on the back to ring in the new year in 2023.

Although Jannik Sinner and Anna Kalinskaya prefer to keep the details of their relationship private, they haven’t shied away from displaying their support during one another’s matches.
Kalinskaya cheered on the World No. 1 from his player’s box during the 2024 US Open final, with the couple adorablyĀ exchanging a kissĀ after he triumphed over Taylor Fritz. Sinner recently opened up about the “nice moment” during his campaign at the China Open.
“It was a nice moment,” he said during his interview with CCTV5. “We just support each other as much as we can.”
The Russian also stayed back in Beijing after her fourth-round exit and supported Sinner during the China Open final. She was there to comfort the Italian after his narrow defeat to Carlos Alcaraz, giving him aĀ warm hug.
Sinner emphasized that while his and Anna Kalinskaya’s playing styles differed significantly, they always made an effort toĀ support each otherĀ and provide positive energy during one another’s matches.
“As tennis players we are, you know, different. I am different also to other tennis players. But for sure I always try to support her because she also tries to support me, giving some positive energy,” Sinner said.
Jannik Sinner has now turned his attention to the Shanghai Masters, where he will square off against Taro Daniel in his opening match. Meanwhile, Anna Kalinskaya will be back in action at the WTA 1000 Wuhan Open, commencing on October 7.
