LOL … you gotta love this.
President-elect Donald Trump’s granddaughter, Kai Trump, took a hilariously innocent shot at golfing legend Tiger Woods while interviewing PGA superstar Scottie Scheffler on the course Tuesday during the showdown between the PGA and LIV.
Talking to Scheffler prior to the two-time Masters winner and his PGA counterpart Rory McIlroy going up against LIV superstars Bryson DeChambeau and Brooks Koepka in an exhibition match, Kai questioned him about his arrest in May 2024 when he was hit with multiple charges, including second-degree assault of a police officer.
Scheffler was arrested May 17 while trying to go into the Valhalla Golf Club, which was then the site of the PGA Championship, prior to the second round.
“Scottie, you’re too nice, but how was jail?” Kai asked to begin the interview with Scottie.
“You know, honestly, it was a bit boring,” said Scheffler while laughing. “There’s not really much to do in there. I was in a cell by myself and just kind of sitting in there looking at the walls. So, it was a little boring.”
Kai then shot off a lighthearted zinger at Tiger Woods, who had his own situation with the law back in 2017.
“I mean, orange is not a bad color though — on you, honestly. You pulled it off just like Tiger Woods,” joked Kai.
“I prefer the burnt orange a little bit more than the jail cell orange.” Scheffler joked back.
