Whitney Parks, 37, from Boston disclosed that her one-year-old Golden Retriever Hinckley was brought home as a new toy for him to play with. Hinckley was initially believed to be infant Theodore, who was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧 in October 2020.  As soon as Hinckley realized Theodore was here to stay, he became Theodore’s constant companion, sleeping, embracing, and dining with him.

Whitney, a communications professional, disclosed that Hinckley wants to participate in everything Theodore does, demonstrating that canines truly are man’s best companion.

Whitney stated, “When we first brought Teddy home, Hinckley believed that we had brought him a new toy.” Since he was the center of our universe for a year, I can understand why he believed that.During those first few evenings, while Teddy slept in his bassinet, Hinckley would observe his every movement from our bed.

Hinckley realized after a few days that the “toy” was not his and was not going anywhere. But from the moment Teddy arrived at the residence, Hinckley was fixated and required to be present wherever Teddy was and involved in all of his activities.

During tummy time, Teddy and Hinckley adore to cuddle on the sofa or the floor.Hinckley is present at each feeding. It’s a special time for the three of us to bond and cuddle.

Sometimes, after Teddy has completed his bottle, when I am not paying attention, Hinckley will discreetly leave with Teddy’s dirty burp cloth, and I can’t help but chuckle.

The adorable duo are destined to spend their entire lifetimes together, and Whitney is ecstatic that Theodore will grow up with his four-legged big sibling to protect him.

Whitney remarked, “My heart softens when I see them together; it’s evident that Hinckley is assuming the role of older sibling looking out for his younger sibling. I truly cannot get enough of it.

I look forward to the day when Teddy can interact with Hinckley more so that they can become best friends and embark on countless excursions together.Currently, Hinckley is dubious of Teddy’s nature, but he recognizes that he is unique and must be protected.
