Children who care for and interact with animals are healthier, more obedient, more physically active, less irritable, and perform better in school, according to research.
Many parents cannot fathom allowing their 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren to adopt canines, cats, ducks, or livestock. They do not have time to care for their pets because they fear that their 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren will be contaminated by the animals, injured on the face, or responsible for their upkeep. Therefore, many parents flatly refuse to adopt their 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥’s pet.
Dr. Hal Herzog, Emeritus Professor of Psychology at Western Carolina University (USA), has conducted research on the impact of canines on 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren. Dr. Herzog and her research team specifically analyzed questionnaires regarding the physical and mental health of 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren in families with at least one 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 aged 5 to 10 years.
Out of a total of 5,191 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren who participated in the study, 2,236 kept and interacted with pets, while the remaining 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren were raised without companions. Children who cared for and played with animals were healthier, more obedient, more physically active, less irritable, and performed better in school, according to the findings.
Therefore, it can be stated that adopting a companion has more advantages than parents believe. Sometimes, even the companionship between 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren and creatures is so close that the two perceive each other as soulmates.

As a photography devotee and international award-winner, Virginia (USA)-based photographer Andrea Martin enjoys photographing 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren and creatures. She desires to capture and preserve ephemeral instances of the friendship between 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren and animals through her photographs.
“Photography is my main interest. I pour my heart and soul into every assignment. As the mother of four 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, nothing is more essential to me than documenting and preserving 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren’s fleeting moments, as Andrea explained.
The mother of four also revealed that she receives numerous requests from parents to photograph their 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren. Therefore, she has numerous opportunities to discuss the relationship between 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren and animals. And as a result of this unique companionship, every photograph taken by Andrea is soft and endearing.

Let me give you an embrace
.
Weary, let’s lie down together
I pledge to always hold you in this manner.
Just lightly brush each other’s cheeks.
I’ll perform a flute piece for you.
Hey, don’t be afraid to leap into the water and leave me waiting on the shore.
What made you so sad?
Let me embrace you, little goat.
Coed bathing is so much joy!
We shall swim together.
Following my ablution, everyone smelled fresh.Love you so much!
