Typically, when you text your companion about your 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren, you expect a brief assurance that they are secure. However, father and photographer Kenny Deuss had other ideas, and thus his humorous retouching series was 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧.

 

He sends his companion altered images of his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren placed in increasingly dangerous situations. We contacted Kenny to learn more about his craft, process, and other creative endeavors, as these proved to be especially popular online.

 

Bored Panda reached out to the creator of these images, Kenny Deuss, to learn more about how his process has evolved over time.

“I have been doing so for over three years. This has enabled me to invest in content and quality of a higher standard. I gained a deeper understanding of photography and editing, as well as social media and video.”

 

In the past three years, social media has presented me with unique challenges. Video has become a much more significant factor, so I began incorporating my photographs into video, which has manifested in my own viral videos. I have also experimented with comedic routines in videos, and this has also been a success!”

Therefore, we wished to determine whether Kenny’s 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren have improved their posing s𝓀𝒾𝓁𝓁s. “Yes, the oldest 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 is now four years old, and she enjoys posing for photographs. They are having a good time and enjoy doing eccentric things, which is wonderful for playing together but also for creating content.

The origin of the photos is just as humorous, as they began as a prank to frighten his fiancée whenever she would text to check in on the kids. His works quickly went viral, to the delight of the entire Internet. Since then, as his 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥ren have gotten older, he has been producing them on a regular basis and experimenting with other means of distributing them. “The percentage of people who don’t appreciate the humor is fairly low, although there are always those individuals who disseminate negativity way too much. “However, I’m fortunate that these people are an exception,” he continued. As his photos have gone viral, an increasing number of people have realized that the 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 is a humorous creation and not a real 𝘤𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥 in peril. But early on, when people were unfamiliar with Photoshop’s capabilities, a frantic response is understandable.
